Tupsa Katsiaryna Viatcheslav

The art of Tupsa Katsiaryna Viatcheslav is a true invitation to tranquillity. In her compositions, nature is not merely a backdrop. It becomes a vibrant sanctuary where every detail seems to come alive. Bathed in sunlight, her paintings reveal lush gardens. We discover sparkling ponds where water lilies rub shoulders with brightly coloured flowers.

First of all, what strikes the viewer is the harmony between the woman and her surroundings. Our Slavic artist paints a serene femininity. She often depicts her models in moments of pure freedom and relaxation. However, make no mistake. Beneath the soft brushstrokes lies a profound reflection on our modern era.

Indeed, the artist enjoys mischievously mixing up different eras. She slips symbols of our everyday lives into scenes from ancient Slavic tales. For example, a brightly coloured air mattress supports a meticulously embroidered traditional costume. This is where the magic of our Slavic artist lies. She creates a timeless space, a bubble of peace protected from the turmoil of the world. Ultimately, it is a universe where human beings can simply exist in harmony with the beauty of the world.

Behind the scenes of a meeting with the art gallery

Our meeting with Tupsa Katsiaryna Viatcheslav was purely by chance. It was in 2024, during our regular holiday in Saint-Valery-sur-Somme. Although the Swiss team fell in love with her immediately, it took two years of correspondence to convince her to join us.

Indeed, Tupsa Katsiaryna had doubts about how her work would be received by the public. She wondered how to define her style, which lies somewhere between painting and illustration. What’s more, she had already been rejected online for her nude paintings. Faced with her hesitations, the gallery simply replied: “Well, we’re going to give it a go! ” Today, we are proud to finally present her unique world to you.
