The Evolution of Our Gallery: A Step Towards the German-Speaking Audience.
As mentioned in our previous article, Team Switzerland has arrived in Paris. They will be staying until next Saturday. The board took advantage of this occasion to meet over a nice dinner – fondue and a „Nüsslisalat“, prepared by Natascha. As they say: if you’ve never tasted a dish from Natascha, you’ve never really had a good meal! – and discuss improvements for the online gallery.
Changing language?
The Portuguese version of the site, developed four years ago, has not sparked the interest we had hoped for. On the other hand, the German-speaking part of Switzerland has shown a strong demand for cultural pages in their “language”, particularly in the visual arts. It seems both logical and exciting to address this demand.
Therefore, we’ve decided to discontinue our Portuguese publications and shift our focus to Swiss German.
But when?
As you know, we are artists, not IT specialists. This modification, which requires a platform change, called for the assistance of a professional. The project has been entrusted to them, and the work is underway. Our next article will thus be published in French, German, English, Ukrainian (in solidarity with the people attacked by the Russian Federation), and Swiss German. After all, it only makes sense that an online gallery from the French-speaking part of Switzerland would publish in French (Swiss), standard German, and Swiss German.
We are excited to welcome you to our new pages. Don’t hesitate to share your thoughts with us!
Are you an artist working in one of the fine arts and would like to benefit from our Swiss and French showcase, open 24 hours a day to the world?
