The Koronin Gallery team is taking another step forward! To support the growth of our Franco-Swiss online art gallery, three new, passionate individuals are joining our team.
Indeed, following the arrival of Konstanz von Hochbach-Vandel, a professional in the fields of arts and crafts and fashion, two Swiss visual artists have also joined our team: Luca Hartmann and Valaine de Ranson.
An organisation dedicated to serving artists and art lovers
The arrival of Lucas, Valaine and Konstanz has therefore given our organisation a new lease of life. The three new members are now taking on important roles:
- They are on the lookout for new talent.
- They are taking a close look at your portfolios (books).
- They are in constant contact with our artists.
In addition, Natascha Vallélian (Natali Andreeva) is responsible for writing blog posts, moderating discussions and handling some of the correspondence.
A Europe-wide project: the future concept store in Chur
This expanded team gives our project an even stronger continental dimension. Valaine, Konstanz and Lucas will be actively involved in the feasibility study for our future physical gallery in Chur’s old town.
In fact, this space will be the setting for an ambitious and welcoming project: a concept store combining an art gallery, a clothing shop and a delicatessen, showcasing Natascha’s culinary talents in particular.
As for the legal aspects of this European project, our friend Diane de Golconde Buzance-Federico is providing us with invaluable assistance from Palermo. She is drawing on the experience she gained whilst setting up a similar concept store in Rome.
A challenging vision for the exhibition
Since early 2026, our online gallery has been featuring a monthly theme showcasing four to five member artists. However, for our future physical gallery in Chur, we have made a deliberate choice to host just one artist per month.
Indeed, we maintain that a successful exhibition must fully showcase an artistic approach, rather than simply cramming dozens of canvases from floor to ceiling. The clarity of a work thus depends on its dialogue with the space. Consequently, piling up works without any coherence is tantamount to serving up a sort of Birchermüesli that lacks flavour. At the Koronin Gallery, we therefore prioritise meaning, breathing space and interaction.
We are planning to open the concept store in December 2027.
