It was on the Ile de Ré, one month of July. In Saint Martin de Ré exactly, a French town on the Atlantic coast, in Charente Maritime.
There is a marina in the middle of the town, around which are grouped hotels, restaurants and bistros.
Philippe was putting his easel on the port quay, I remember. I was there. He is one of those painters who still paint while looking at the landscape in front of them. It was a wonderful summer for me coming from my Switzerland.
I wanted to show you these few Art paintings. Oil paintings. They are not for sale. They belong to me and decorate the walls of my house in Jochstrasse.
