Contemporary Franco-Swiss art: Artemis Irenäus von Baste exhibits at the Château du Bois-la-Croix

Managing a contemporary art gallery, even in its virtual and dedicated form, visiting artists’ studios, and hosting our art classes at the château du Bois la Croix in Pontault-Combault — just twenty kilometers east of Paris — requires staying as close as possible to the creators. The entire team at Galerie Les Koronin takes great care to limit its carbon footprint; however, from October 25 to 30, our president and painter Artemis Irenäus von Baste honored us with a visit to our Lise Fleuron salon, in the heart of the château.

As a graduate of ENSBA Paris (National Fine Arts School of Paris), Artemis Irenäus von Baste actively supports contemporary artistic creation and the growth of our art platform. Her visit was far more than a mere courtesy call: she took the opportunity to connect with the students in our Wednesday fine arts class (currently fully booked from 4 pm to 6 pm) and share her insight as an accomplished painter.

Out of strict respect for GDPR regulations and our students’ image rights, we do not publish any identifiable photos from the class.

Nevertheless, we captured her presence at the top of the château’s grand interior staircase — a historic and poetic setting that perfectly illustrates the unique bond between fine arts tradition and online contemporary art.
