Art class in Pontault-Combault.

Yesterday afternoon, on September 10, 2025, the France–Switzerland Online Art Gallery launched its very first art class at the castle Bois-la-Croix. Enjoy!!!
Responding to growing demand, two time slots were opened: 4–6 pm and 6–8 pm. From the very first session, the classes were nearly full, bringing together both enthusiastic beginners and experienced amateurs.

The session focused on observational drawing from a statue, as well as easel painting – an activity already attracting new registrations.

For the moment, classes are held in the small salon-kitchenette next to the Lucien Morane salon – named after the famous aviator who owned the château in the early 20th century. Starting next week, the larger salon will be used, offering each artist more working space. This project, proposed by VABLC, is seen as a true mark of confidence – and we are honored.

Coming soon: perspective sketching in the château’s grand staircase and outdoor painting sessions in the park (how to capture the trees, the pond?). Classes will be adapted to the weather, the light of the day, and the artistic progress of each student. Because in the Online Art Gallery’s courses, each participant matters, and the teaching is first and foremost personalized.

A few spots are still available – join us!

The Swiss team will be in Paris at the end of the month, and on September 26 will host a Tea Time – a special meeting reserved for our registered artists.

Lines emerge in the light of the castle, the eyes sharpen – art awakens.
