Tamhuy was a talented student of painting and a loyal friend. With him, the word friendship had a meaning. He opened us up to his Vietnamese culture, made us love their cuisine. He was one of us; he still is as an artist, as a friend, humble but intellectual, with an identity that remains in our hearts. Tamhuy (“Ban” from his nickname), yes, he is someone who has meaning, as I said before. A man for whom the word counts.
