Dear readers,
As you know, our online art gallery is above all a human adventure that unfolds over time. For eleven years now, we have been highlighting the work of our artists through our pages. Over the course of our projects, deep bonds and strong friendships have grown. Today, as our in-person meetings multiply—whether at Artemis Irenäus’s studio in Switzerland or at the beautiful Château du Bois-la-Croix in France—we want to open the doors to our internal events.
Through these regular chronicles, we want to share the anecdotes that make up the soul of Galerie Koronin. This is our way of showing you that behind our two teams (France and Switzerland), there are faces, sensibilities, and shared stories, far beyond mere professional roles.
Sharing these moments is also our way of navigating the complex times our societies are facing. In the face of geopolitical tensions and climate change, cultivating human connection and art is an act of resilience: we refuse to give up on beauty. After all, personal stories, when shared, always add extra depth to the artwork we create.
The two teams behind the online gallery: Philippe Morin Koronin, Artemis Irenäus von Baste, Diane May de Golconde Buzance and Natascha Vallélian.
What’s new for this summer?
We are currently putting the finishing touches on our August exhibition. We have designed it with great care and hope it will surprise you just as much as our July show!
Once this new exhibition goes live, the Swiss team will pack their bags to join their French counterparts. Both teams will set up their August headquarters in Charente-Maritime, on the western tip of the Arvert Peninsula. This stay will be a wonderful opportunity to strengthen our ties and share a special highlight: a planned meeting with our artist E Popeia, who lives in this stunning region. Naturally, the online gallery remains fully open and will continue to publish throughout the summer.
Get ready for your artistic return in autumn!
Finally, we are already looking gently toward autumn: registrations for drawing and painting classes at Château du Bois-la-Croix are officially open for September. Due to high demand, we have added a new time slot on Fridays from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Don’t wait too long to reserve your easel!
We thank you warmly for your loyalty and for being by our side.
Wishing you all a wonderful summer,
The Galerie Koronin Team
