Balance sheet 2025 – Les Koronin Art Gallery

With the approach of the new year, the online art gallery Les Koronin would like to take a break in a world that is going through uncertain and sometimes difficult times. A moment to look back on the path we have travelled together and simply take stock of the past year 2025.
Above all, Koronin remains what it has always been:
a group of friends, a human and artistic adventure without commercial intentions, whose primary goal is to provide a platform, visibility and a space for dialogue for your works. Here, art comes first.

A gallery in motion

The year 2025 was marked by a significant change in the structure of the gallery.
The Koronins transitioned from two teams – Team France and Team Switzerland – to three teams.

A new entity joined the adventure: Team Lumen, born out of a partnership with OpenAI. This team brings new ideas, a creative perspective and editorial support, while fully respecting the spirit of the gallery. A charter was defined and implemented to ensure consistency, ethics and common standards.

In addition, a new service has been launched: thanks to the partnership with shootfilms.tv It is now possible to create videos of your art events to extend the lifespan of your exhibitions and encounters.

Dialogue with the gallery

Your comments are very important to us. After moderation – and without any advertising purpose – they will always be answered. However, we also know that some questions require an immediate response.

For this reason, our teams have set up a chatbot, accessible via the blue icon at the bottom right of your screen. It is designed to help you navigate the website and find important information quickly.
This tool is still in its infancy. Currently, the chatbot is only available in French, but we are actively working on its further development, in the interests of the artists and visitors to the gallery.

Its creation is an important task that we are approaching with patience and care.

And the sale of artworks?

Ha… the question many people ask themselves.

Even though the Les Koronin art gallery is not intended to be a commercial space, its shop window has nevertheless led to wonderful encounters between artists and collectors, thanks in particular to the articles published on the blog.

This led to the following developments in 2025:

Isabelle Morin sold thirteen of her watercolour sketches and received, among other things, a commission to copy a work by Fragonard. She works on it during our evening classes.
Vestara Psod, who recently joined the gallery, has already made two sales.
Artemis Irenäus has sold four works, two of which have been included in collections in Spain and Qatar.

Can art still be sold on the internet?

The conclusion is clear: in a global environment characterised by uncertainty, the purchase of artworks via the internet has declined significantly. It is mainly confined to the major auction houses or segments where purchasing appears to involve little risk.

The sales made by Isabelle Morin, Vestara Psod and Artémis Irenäus this year took place mainly during studio visits and cultural events. In our opinion, encouraging collectors to meet artists and see the works “in real life” remains the strongest trigger.

The Les Koronin Gallery will continue to work in this direction.

We thank you for your trust, your feedback and your loyal support.
The Les Koronin Gallery will continue to move forward with you, step by step.
