Artemis Irenäus and Natascha, the Swiss team of your online art gallery is in Paris!
Natascha and Artemis Irenäus arrived the day before yesterday by car, coming from Chur. As early as yesterday, Monday, they headed to the Saint-Paul district to visit two art studios and breathe in the Parisian autumn air. It was also the perfect occasion for a bit of sightseeing: revisiting Place des Vosges, having tea at Châtelet, and continuing – in the rain – all the way to the Eiffel Tower, a place they both cherish.
Natascha took the opportunity to nurture her idea of reviving photos in the style of “old disposable film cameras,” those little devices that once cost just a few coins and could still be found in souvenir shops about ten years ago. Their charm? Paper prints with unusual colors, truncated perspectives, a nostalgic, timeworn effect…. details that made those pictures both surprising and endearing.
It was almost, one could say, another universe. Something that truly resonated.
To create this portrait of Artemis Irenäus, Natascha used photo-editing software. Our editorial writer wishes to continue along this artistic path.
